Morelos a personas con inseguridad alimentaria
¿QUÉ HACEMOS?
En Banco de Alimentos de Morelos recolectamos, seleccionamos y distribuimos alimento de las empresas, centrales de abastos e invernaderos, que ya no son comercializables pero son 100% comestibles, para brindarlo a las familias que se encuentran con inseguridad alimentaria.

About us
We are a non-profit and non-partisan CSO (Civil Society Organization), we are part of a network made up of 54 Food Banks which rescue food throughout the entire value chain to bring it to families, communities and institutions in need and thus improve food and nutrition in Mexico.
At Morelos Food Bank, nothing is wasted, everything is used. For 25 years we have been the most efficient food rescue institution in Morelos, so we are committed every day to maximize the use of resources, be they food, electricity, transport, time, money or any other that is entrusted to us.
Food Rescue
We rescue food and produce in shopping centers, through the Chamber of Commerce, the food industry, farmers associations, local ranchers and local unions related to the production and distribution of food and produce.

The fight against food insecurity starts here. Our beneficiaries cover a recovery fee for the products they purchase, which allows us have financial self-sufficiency to cover our operations.
SUPPORT TO other CSO's
Since 2010 we have been supporting community kitchens and institutions such as nursing homes, shelters and homes.
We give priority to homeless people and the elderly, who are more vulnerable.
Help those who need it most
People who lost their job, or who have some disability. Retirees or elderly people who do not have enough income or without a family; or mothers who take care of their family without support from anyone. We exist to help them.
